Alma mater.

During one of my friday mexican food date night with deven and his parents, deven mentions how his high school, MHS, is going to CIF once again. I didn’t think much of it because i knew MHS is pretty good in football (according to deven and his friends). But this changed when i found out MHS was playing against SGHS.

Oh my gosh, why couldn’t they play during my senior year? It would probably be the cutest thing for deven and me since those are our alma maters! I had a girl moment and wished sg went that far during my senior year, but i’m surprised that they made it that far this year. Even though MHS crushed SGHS, i still think it’s quite cute they played with MHS renovated field. I can’t believe i still feel the need to root for SGHS since i’ve never returned to that campus after graduation. What’s up with that? Is that even normal?
